Pediatric Sleep Training Course

At Coast 2 Coast Sleep Training, we believe in “in-home” coaching. So our course is designed for those doing hands-on in-home coaching or consulting. That is not to say you cannot use this information for online coaching. Over the years, we have found that parents can do this with being coached over the phone; the real issue is that they won’t do it. To be an excellent and understanding coach, you should experience the process firsthand.

Our course is a comprehensive, two-day program that will earn you a certificate of attendance. To receive a certificate of completion, you must also complete post-course homework assignments and client evaluations. Just so you know, attendance for both days is required to qualify for the certificate.

We teach this course in person, ensuring the class remains small and intimate, allowing for:

Having your questions answered directly,
Experiencing hands-on demonstrations of techniques,
Building connections with us as your instructors,
And allowing us to get to know one another.

About your instructors:

Chris Hinkley & Charity Espinosa

Chris Hinkley began her career as a postpartum doula in 1997 after a 17-year nursing career that included Hospitals, office manager, and in-home pediatric nursing. Over her 27-plus years as a doula, she has added newborn care specialist, birth doula, certified mommywise (TM) sleep coach, happiest baby on the block coach, and authorized instructor for Gentle Ventures newborn care program. Chris has worked with hundreds of families throughout Orange County, CA, and Las Vegas, NV. It is through Chris’s many years of experience and tweaking sleep training that this program was born. You will learn her method and all the background methods from which this hybrid method was born. Along with how to choose clients and run a successful business, and so much more.

Charity Espinosa, besides being a mother-like figure to her siblings, raised a family of 4 children before entering the wonderful world of pediatric care, working alongside Chris for years, working as a nanny, postpartum doula, and sleep coach. By learning the methods, applying her knowledge, and having close mentorship with Chris, she is the natural choice as a business partner and co-instructor. The first thing you will notice about her is that she is a southern peach! with her Georgia accent, but don’t be surprised when she breaks into a fluent and smooth conversation in Spanish. A daughter of missionaries growing up in Guadalajara, Mexico. Her passion is sharing her knowledge with families and also with others who will have a passion to do likewise.
